Our office is located in Orange, California, just a short drive away from Huntington Beach, California.  Huntington Beach was incorporated in 1909 after going through many name changes, from Shell Beach to the town of Smeltzer.  It was ultimately named after railroad magnate Henry Huntington.  The Huntington Beach company is responsible for the development of the city and is still the largest land owner in Huntington Beach.  Today, Huntington Beach is the most populous beach city in Orange County.  Huntington Beach has the nickname “Surf City USA” recognizing its rich surfing tradition.  Its surfing tradition is highlighted by the annual surf championships that are held during the summer months.  Huntington Beach has been home to many professional athletes and celebrities, from actor Jason Lee, actress Jenna Jameson, to athletes such as professional baseball player Jeff Kent and all pro tight end Tony Gonzalez, who both attended Huntington Beach high school.  Huntington Beach is also home to MMA legend Tito Ortiz, who paid tribute to his hometown through his nickname “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.”
