Professional Experience
Ramon Trujillo is a founding partner of Law Offices of Ramon Trujillo.
Mr. Trujillo received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. During Law School, Mr. Trujillo participated in a Litigation Skills clinic and was President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. While in Law School, Mr. Trujillo was a certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office conducting trials and other hearings under the supervision of an Assistant State Attorney. In addition, Mr. Trujillo worked for an established Immigration Law Firm in Coral Gables, Florida, focusing on employment based visas.
Before attending Law School, Mr. Trujillo attended the University of California, Irvine where he obtained B.A. degrees in English and Political Science. While attending college, Mr. Trujillo participated in various community outreach programs through the University and served as chapter president of the Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity.
After Law School and before co-founding Law Offices of Ramon Trujillo, Mr. Trujillo was an associate attorney for a civil litigation law firm specializing in labor and employment law.
Recently, Mr. Trujillo became an AILA DREAM Defender, assisting individuals who may qualify for relief under the proposed DREAM Act. AILA DREAM Defenders provide expert immigration pro bono legal assistance and advocacy support to DREAMers - young adults who would qualify for relief under the DREAM Act if it were to become law and who are unable to pay for an attorney.
